Soroptimist International of Santa Ana Tustin
Our service club is part of an international volunteer service organization made up of over 1,300 clubs in 18 countries and territories. Founded in 1921 by 80 women in Oakland, California, the club is made up of business and professional women at all stages of life trying to make a difference for women on both a local and global level. The name “Soroptimist” itself means “ best for women” from two Latin words— “soror” and “optimia”. The Santa Ana-Tustin club has been in continuous service since 1947.

Winner of our recent fundraiser to help local women and girls further their lives, Rose Kyger (third from the left) and friends, recently sat at their table at Pepper Tree Park in Tustin, CA TACFA’s Broadway In The Park – Beauty and the Beast. They enjoyed an evening of entertainment that included a catered dinner that was served by the Soroptimist ladies.
“My friends really enjoyed the evening and want to be involved in the fundraiser again next year and are interested in participating in our Quarter Mania!” – Rose Kyger
